Our services are a little different over Christmas. These and other events are listed below
Usual Pattern of Worship:
9.15 am Holy Communion (Common Worship)
Held each Sunday apart from the third Sunday of the month when instead we have:
9.15 am Morning Prayer (Common Worship)
Whichever Sunday it is, the 9.15 service is a traditional service with robed choir and organ.
11 o’clock Service
Lasting about one hour this is a service of all-age worship with music group and a mix of traditional hymns and more contemporary worship songs.
Children leave for their groups about 10 -15 minutes into the service and after the ever-popular Action Song.
On the third Sunday of each month we celebrate Holy Communion. The children return to the service to receive Communion or a Blessing, and often show the congregation what they have been doing in their group time.
Please stay for tea or filter coffee after all our services.
Joint and special Services
At certain times in the year (Mothering Sunday, Easter, Harvest and Christmas) our service times change to allow for Joint Services at 10.30am when the whole church family comes together to worship.
We also hold special week day services during Christmas time and Lent including Ash Wednesday, also in Holy Week and on Ascension Day.
Please look out for special notices about all our occasional services.
